Whether it is the Latin statement “Nullus locus est domestica sede iucundior” according to which no place is more pleasant than one’s own home, or the famous comment on the Aeneid “Nullus locus sine genius est”, that is, no place is without a spirit.
In this debut, Nullus Locus, it is both “no room” but also a room that opens up to all the possibilities that embroidery on various types of wood can open up. The metal thread stitched into the wood becomes decoration but also volume, the image rises from the design through the three-dimensionality of the embroidery.
